What is it?
A brick breaker played on a circle. Rings of bricks rotate around the centre at different speeds while your barrier orbits the rim, so the gap you aimed at will not be there a second later. Read the spin, pick your moment, and keep the ball alive.
It runs in the browser with nothing to install. On a phone you turn the wheel below the playfield with your thumb; on a desktop you can drag with the mouse, scroll the wheel, or use the arrow keys. Add it to your home screen and it opens full screen like an app.
Controls
- Move the barrier: turn the wheel, drag anywhere on screen, scroll, or press the left and right arrow keys
- Launch the ball: press the center button (tapping the screen works too)
- Pause, music, sound: the three buttons at the top
Power-ups
Breaking bricks sometimes drops a capsule. Catch it with the barrier for a timed effect. The dark red striped ones work against you, so let those fall.
| W Wide | The barrier grows. |
|---|---|
| M Multi-ball | The ball splits. |
| S Slow | The ball slows down. |
| F Fireball | The ball punches through bricks. |
| C Catch | The ball sticks so you can aim before firing. |
| 3 Triple | Three barriers, 120 degrees apart. |
| L Laser | Both ends of the barrier fire automatically. |
| ◎ Auto | Stage 11 onward. The barrier chases the ball by itself for 8 seconds. |
| + Extra life | One more life. |
| − Mini | Bad. The barrier shrinks. |
| ≫ Speed up | Bad. Stage 11 onward. The ball gets faster for 12 seconds. |
Bonus rush
Every stage hides one golden star brick, ringed with a pulsing halo so you can pick it out. Break it and for ten seconds you get five balls, the barrier wraps the entire ring so nothing can fall, and every point counts double.
Boss fights
Every fifth stage a giant eye wakes up in the middle. It follows the ball, blinks, and charges up before firing tears at your barrier. A hit cracks the barrier where it lands and the ball slips straight through, so shoot the tears down or dodge them. Break through the guard rings and hit the pupil.
Difficulty
- Normal: two to five rings of bricks.
- Hard: seven to ten rings of much smaller bricks, with a smaller ball and barrier — it feels like watching the board from far above. More armoured and indestructible bricks too.
Two players
- Co-op: share lives and score, one barrier each.
- Versus: no power-ups, three stages, and whoever breaks more bricks wins.
- One device: two wheels on screen (arrow keys and A/D on a keyboard).
- Online: one player creates a room, the other types in the five-character code.
World ranking
Submit your score after a game to see where you land. Normal and Hard have separate boards. A name is all you need — no account.
Music
Ten soundtracks, all synthesised in code: arrangements of Bach's Air on the G String and Pachelbel's Canon, plus eight originals ranging from synthwave and chiptune to a pipe-organ passacaglia and hard rock. You can also load a track from your own device.
